Wine and Spirits Tour

For all you wine and spirits enthusiasts, A MUST tour.
A tour that combines all the authentic products of Crete! All the areas that you will visit are famous for their vineyards, the olive groves and see the wine and olive productions since the Minoan era. Even today they are considered the largest areas in Greece for cultivating grapes and high quality olive oil. First stop is a local modern olive mill surrounded by olive groves. We take a tour at the olive mill. You will have the chance to taste fresh olive oil,with some snacks. Second stop is a family-owned winery which uses organic cultivation. A tour around the vineyards and the winery and enjoy tasting 5 wines, with some snacks. Next stop is a unique distillery with an ancient wine press. You will visit an authentic raki distillery. Raki is the most famous Cretan spirit. You will enjoy a tour of the distillery as well as a traditional lunch at a local tavern. Finish off the tour with a visit to pottery lab located in a traditional village which is famous for its pottery making.
