Sailing Tour to the Island of Dia

1 Day Tour – From the Port of Heraklion

A relaxing and full of experience half day (or full day) trip with sailing boat. You can book individually or private for the whole sailing boat (smallest is 8 persons).
Half day : 09.00-13.00 Price per person: 95 euro including transfer from Amoudara hotels, Hersonissos- Gouves – Stalis hotels. If from another area: price will be given separately
Full day: 9.00-16.00 Price per person: 120 euro
including :
*transfer from Amoudara hotels, Hersonissos- Gouves – Stalis hotels. If from another area: price will be given separately.
*Light lunch, (for half day sandwiches) soft drinks wine, juices, (other alcoholic beverages extra charge)
Program:
Starting from the Heraklion Port, our friendly crew will welcome you aboard our sailing boat and set sail at 09.00 (time is to be verified) heading towards the mysterious DIA Island, located 6 nautical miles north of Heraklion, around an hour’s sail. Admire the stunning coastline of Crete and watch for playful dolphins swimming alongside the boat as we sail towards the island.
Upon arriving at DIA Island, we’ll anchor at Saint George Bay, where you can swim, snorkel, fish for fun, or simply relax on the boat and soak up and sunbathe and jump into the water to cool down if so wished.. Our crew will provide snorkeling equipment for your use (upon request also fishing equipment).
While you’re enjoying the activities on DIA Island, our crew will serve a delicious Mediterranean lunch for you (for the full day) and sandwiches for the half day. Savor the flavors of fresh Greek salad, seafood pasta, and fruits, complemented by wine, beer, soft drinks, or water.
After a day filled with fun and relaxation, we’ll set sail back to the Heraklion Port, arriving around 16:00 (13.00 for the half day). Transfer back to the hotel.

COOKING SESSION
2.option : private 2-10 persons maximum

Only cooking session in another area with nice sea views and very simple place with an expert Greco-Italian cook with lots of fun and experience
Including: cooking lesson with local cuisine and sweets, olive oil tasting , house wine to taste and also with the meal after food is cooked.
Transfer from/to your resort (or if you have a car to meet our escort guide at a set place to pick you up from)
