The Minoan Experience

The Minoan Experience is a journey through the ancient time, culture, food and dance of Grete.

The Minoan Theater is located at the area of Karteros, next to the city of Heraklion.The visitors will indulge their senses to the beauty and greatness of an important era, that of The Minoans, which remained in history as the Pinnacle of Peace and Prosperity.

The Minoan Experience begins with the theatrical dance and acrobatics performance. At the end, the Minoans invite spectators to take part in an interactive game with (mitos) Ariadne’s threat. Dancing to the sounds of drum banging and singing they get intertwined together.

Guests are welcomed in the Minoan dining area, where they will experience the Minoan and modern day Cretan cuisine. A special live music set accompanies the dinner, starting with music played with ancient and modern Greek instruments, moving towards a more traditional Greek fiesta with dancing : live show and guests are then invited to participate –

Special buffet dinner : serving specialties from ancient Minoan Period as well new Greek cuisine – all accompanied by super special bottled wine.

• Children 0-1,99: free (as long as they do not occupy seat on the bus)
• Children 2-11: 40 euros
• Day of operation: every Thursday

Including: the transfer from/to hotels (up to Malia area) – buffet dinner- live music and show – free wine/water (all other beverages will have to be paid on the spot).
