Lasithi Plateau

The Dikti mountains, surrounding the Lassithi plateau, are also home to the Psychro cave. Psychro cave is well known in Greek mythology as the place that the infant Zeus was hidden to protect him from the titan Cronos, his father. You will pass by several traditional mountain villages and you will also see the 1000 windmills, a sight you will not soon forget. Duration: Half-day: 4-5 hours Notes: No lunch included. Please note that proper footwear (hiking boots or equivalent sport shoes) is highly recommended.
