Samaria gorge is on the west side of Crete, in the prefecture of Chania. With a starting point at Omalos, at a height of 1300m, the gorge stretches for 18 kilometers, with the last 3 kilometers being in open space as you walk to the coastal village of Aghia Roumeli.

There you will have a chance to relax and swim before catching the boat to get to Chora Sfakion (with a small stop in Loutro as well) where the bus is waiting for us.

Duration: Full-day: 10-12 hours.
