A charming self catering traditional villa located in the village of ARHANES, a village under the protection of preserved traditional villages, located around 20 km southwards from Heraklion airport, 14 km from the capital city of Heraklion and just 7 km from the famous Palace of Knossos.

The area sits among rolling hills surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, gorges, forests and amazing nature.  Ideal for walks admiring the impressive architecture of the buildings, and  the nearby  Mountain  Juchtas as well as the Fairy springs. Most of the traditional neoclassical houses in the village have been restored into gracious guesthouses and pensions giving the village a most artistic architectural look, combined with the small cafes, restaurants serving delicious local specialties. The nearby wineries offer a vast variety of wines to content every taste and connoisseur.   We provide special tours to the different wineries where you can do wine tasting and if you want to buy different local products such as wine, virgin olive oil, raisins, olives.  These are exported worldwide.

Our villa dates back to the 50’s which was an old winery, now turned into a most comfortable artistic retreat for our guests who wish to combine relaxation in style!  The villa consists of 3 suites, all given a wine name to adjust to the history of the building and the area.

The house has been fully renovated to modern chic living still keeping all the original neoclassical features and tradition, with a private patio for our guests dotted with a 12 sqm  share pool and relaxing atmosphere.

Our suites are:

Suite Vino Rosso : 35 sqm consisting ground floor with a fully equipped kitchen, living room with a sofa bed which can be turned into double bed, smart TV shower/WC.  Up the stairs leading to a loft with a double bed, cupboard, smart TV and lovely views of the mountains.

Suite Vino Roze: 35 sqm consisting of ground with a fully equipped kitchen, living room with a sofa bed which can be turned into double bed, smart TV shower/WC.  Up the stair case leading to a loft with a double bed, cupboard, smart TV and lovely views of the mountains.

Suite Vino Bianco: ground floor with stair case to 1^st floor ,45 sqm with a fully equipped kitchen, living room with a sofa bed which can be turned into double bed, smart TV shower/WC.  Up the stair case leading to the bedroom with a double bed, cupboard, smart TV and private terrace and lovely views of the mountains and the sea.

Cleaning services are offered once a week but if you wish more often during your stay it can be done with extra charge.   We offer information on the surrounding area, special winery tours that can be also conducted by personal guide/driver, rent a car rates, boat trips etc.
